Arborist ApprenticeshipAs Environmental Stewards Cohanzick Climate Corps members learn all aspects of tree care from the very beginning of service. Our program is hosted at Cohanzick Nature Reserve,
a 63-acre Green Acres open space dedicated to preserving a prestine ecosystem of woodland forest and public trail system. Members have the option of serving 1-term only or committing to 3-terms of service to complete US DOL Apprenticeship requirements. On-the-Job curriculumTree care skills are taught by term using a hybrid-style of classroom, online and daily field work. Personal and Professional development courses are also part of the Cohanzick Climate Corps curriculum.

Upon successful program completion Members have the flexible options of 1.) begining their career in Tree Care or 2.) continuing their education with multiple Segal Education Awards that can be used to pay tuition or student loans.! |
